• Aluminium TIG welding requires alternating current (AC). Since aluminium is a very good conductor of heat, a higher current is required for every additional millimetre of material thickness. Material thicknesses far exceeding 8 mm can be handled easily by the T-series welding units. Beyond this, the AC mode optimises the current form for greatest stability, outstanding cleaning effect of the aluminium oxide layer and reduced noise. • The additional special Lorch MACS (ModulatedACSystem) process improves welding quality by way of targeted heat application. MACS provides outstanding results, in particular when joining different material thicknesses. 

• The T-Series is compact enough to fit your TIG equipment in the optional protective assembly trolley. Your entire system, including its cables, tools, helmet, and gloves will be safely stowed and can be pulled along with you in its case. 

• The integrated pulse and fast pulse function at up to 2 kHz is particularly suitable for welding thin sheets. It facilitates outstanding weld pool control for perfect results even with difficult welding tasks.

Energy efficiency at full power.

• At barely more than 13 kg, the T-series is perfectly equipped for mobile use. The special drop protection keeps the housing safe at falls from a height of up to 60 cm. The standard protective cover of the control panel and the integrated dust filter ensure robustness and durability even in rough working conditions. 

• The T-series is also suitable for MMA welding. The arc-force control comes in when welding, ensuring arc stability and perfect material transition. The electrode will not stick or anneal due to the anti-stick system.
